Brasilia National Park (30,000 hectares) (Distrito Federal) Vegetation in the park is largely cerrado but also includes some other habitats. The park is located 9 km north of Brasilia, in the northeast section of the Distrito Federal Parts of the park are restricted and require the prior permission of IBAMA. This is a good location to search for the endemic Black-bellied Seedeater, as well as the Bare-faced Curassow and the Collared Crescent-chest. Other endemics here are Lesser Nothura, Brasila Tapaculo, and White-striped Warbler. The park has an impressive bird list, including Small-billed and Dwarf Tinamous, Ocellated and Rufous-faced Crakes, Yellow-faced Parrot, White-vented Violet-ear, Horned Sungem, White-edged Piculet, and Coal-crested Finch.
